CASHOT TERMS OF USE
These Terms of Use govern use of CASHOT. By using CASHOT, you agree to these terms.
WHAT CASHOT DOES
CASHOT is a cash-flow planning tool. It helps estimate how much cash may be available for a selected period based on connected account data, transactions, recurring income and expenses, one-time items, savings goals, safety buffers, and user settings.
CASHOT is for planning and informational purposes only. CASHOT does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, credit, or accounting advice.
NO MONEY MOVEMENT
CASHOT does not move money, initiate payments, issue credit, underwrite loans, make lending decisions, or provide investment services.
ESTIMATES AND USER RESPONSIBILITY
CASHOT calculations are estimates. Balances, pending transactions, transaction timing, recurring item detection, and user-entered plans may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
You are responsible for reviewing your accounts, bills, obligations, and financial decisions before spending, saving, borrowing, or making payments.
CONNECTED ACCOUNTS
CASHOT uses Plaid to let users connect financial accounts. By connecting an account, you authorize CASHOT and Plaid to access user-permissioned account, balance, and transaction information needed to provide the app.
CASHOT does not ask for bank usernames or passwords directly. Those credentials, when required, are handled by Plaid or the financial institution through the Plaid connection flow.
ACCOUNT AND APP DATA
You are responsible for keeping your device and app access secure. You may delete saved CASHOT data from Settings. Deletion clears saved app state and linked-account cache for the app user.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES
CASHOT may offer subscriptions or in-app purchases through the App Store. Any paid offering will be shown through Apple's purchase flow with the applicable price, renewal, cancellation, and trial information before purchase.
Do not rely on any paid feature unless the App Store purchase flow confirms that the product is available and active.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to misuse CASHOT, attempt to access data that is not yours, interfere with the app or backend, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use CASHOT for unlawful purposes.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
CASHOT depends on third-party services such as Plaid, Apple, hosting, and infrastructure providers. CASHOT is not responsible for third-party service outages, data delays, or third-party terms and policies.
AVAILABILITY
CASHOT may change, suspend, or discontinue features. The app may be unavailable because of maintenance, service outages, provider issues, or other conditions.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CASHOT is not liable for financial losses, missed bills, overdrafts, fees, decisions made based on estimates, data delays, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
CASHOT may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The latest version will show the updated date above.
